My Favourite Nude/Natural Lipsticks!

I seem to go through phases when it comes to lipsticks, one month I'll wear bright lips, the next I can't stand that look. This month i have been loving a nude/natural lip and I thought I would share some of my favourites in this category. Please excuse the condition of these lipsticks, some are a little worse for wear as they are very well loved (which also means that they bounce around in my handbag a lot)!

MAC
Hue
£15

MAC hue is a favourite with many and I can see why. It has a glaze finish which means that it is hydrating and not too opaque so it is a very easy nude to wear for any skin tone. I think this is perfect for an everyday natural look or at night with a smokey eye. A staple in my handbag!

L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse
Nude and Cute
£7.99

My 'holy grail' nude lipstick HAS to be L'Oreal's 'nude and cute'. The shape of the packaging is reminiscent of the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks (not surprising as L'Oreal owns YSL) at a much more affordable price. This is very creamy in texture making it hydrating and perfect for the approaching cold winter months. The fragrance is so fruity and it feels as though you have nothing on your lips. The best thing about this choice is that it has a slight shimmer, giving the impression of a fuller lip.

CHANEL
Boy
£24

CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine in boy has a very creamy, glossy finish and is a 'your lips but better' colour. If i had an interview, this would be my lipstick of choice as it creates such a perfect polished look. This lasts an impressing amount of time on the lips considering its sheer texture (around 2/3 hours) and it is my newest nude staple. A down side to this lipstick is that you only get 3g/0.1OZ for £24 but I have to say that i think it is worth it.

Revlon Lip Butter
Creme Brulee
£7.99

Revlon lip butters are brilliant in my opinion and I have to admit, I own almost every shade! This lipstick is so creamy with a glossy finish, its not too opaque and is much more of a brown nude. I have very pigmented lips and a pale complexion so this is perfect if I want a true nude that doesn't completely wash me out and lets my natural lip colour shine through. This is the perfect shade to couple with a smokey eye and it will suit absolutely any skin tone.

Rouge Dior Nude
263 SWAN
£25

Next up is my beloved Rouge Dior Nude lipstick in 263 Swan. Grab this one now as Dior is completely reformulating this range and creating all new colours! First of all...the packaging...it is just gorgeous. It feels so luxurious applying a lipstick with fancy packaging and I fall for it every time. This is a very opaque pink colour and provides a satin finish that lasts a long time on the lips. Some people would not consider this a nude and I would have to agree, however it is a great natural choice for those who already have pigmented lips, I just couldn't leave it out!

YSL Rouge Volupte
No.1
£24

No favourite lip collection is complete without a YSL Rouge Volupte addition. This is another lipstick that sold me mainly on the packaging, it is so luxurious and definitely one that deserves showing off on your makeup stand. The colour is No.1 and it is a great pink nude colour, very similar to creme cup by MAC. For such a creamy texture, the colour is fantastically opaque. It smells like fruity wine and is so comfortable to wear. The only down side to this one is the fact that it doesn't last very long on the lips so I tend to go through a lot of product very quickly and for the price, this is quite frustrating!

Rouge D'Armani
Beige 103
£22

There seems to be a 'battle of the packaging' with lipsticks these days as Giorgio Armani have added a magnetic lid to their collection (I have to admit I did find this very intriguing and spent longer than I'd like to admit playing around with the packaging)! Considering this, the price is great and this is one that I continuously repurchase as soon as I run out. The colour is absolutely unique as it is the perfect mix of brown and pink. While the formula is hydrating, it has quite a matte/satin finish and lasts a good amount of time on the lips.

MAC
Jubilee
£15

The last lipstick I'm going to mention is MAC's Jubilee. This has a lustre finish which makes it quite sheer and hydrating. I love this colour, it is just a purely brown nude and it provides a very sophisticated look. This is one of the longest lasting lipsticks I own and I really could not be without it. Perfect for the days where you cannot decide what lipstick to grab, it is foolproof and goes with any makeup look.
